Sadbh
had yet another sleep in this morning and woke up shortly after 8. She was very
excited as Ali-Baba and Kirk were coming over in the afternoon.
The
weather was great so after breakfast we loaded up the stroller and headed off
up to Capitol Hill for a few things. Sadbh could not wait to get to Trader Joes
and to go on the hunt for Kangaroo Joey.
It
did not take her long to find him thanks to a little help from Nana.
Trach
care went well and Sadbh wanted to take a nap straight afterwards. She insisted
that I join her by sleeping on the ground next to her bed and as soon as I laid
down she climbed out of bed to snuggle up. I knew right there and then that she
was not going to sleep.
Ali-Baba
and Kirk arrived shortly after and Sadbh was so excited. Ali-Baba brought her
“Billy La Bufanda” scarf for Sadbh to play with. Sadbh had so much fun she
almost forgot about lunch. As soon as she finished lunch it was time for a tea
party and the fun and games continued.
It
is Sadbh’s godmother’s birthday tomorrow and Sadbh wanted to stop by to see her
and her friends Clodagh and Cormac.
The
three kids had so much fun together and when it came to dinner Sadbh ate so
much food.
When
it came time to leave Sadbh was wiped out but did not want to leave. I think
she would have stayed if she got half the chance.
