Friday started off quite well for Sadbh with a nice long snuggle and some playtime with Katie in bed.
The rest of the morning was very busy running errands, but Sadbh had a great time being driven around by Granddad.
After everyone got home, Ali-Baba arrived on the scene as she did not want to miss out on the action, and to help out with trach care.
Shortly afterwards, Hailey and her 4 and a half month old son Oisin came by to hang out, and Hailey planted a couple of blueberry bushes for Sadbh to enjoy when she’s older.
Shortly after I returned home from work, a good friend of ours whom we had not seen in a few years stopped by.
Vannessa moved to NYC 9 years ago and it was great to catch up and introduce her to Sadbh.
She brought Sadbh a bunch of lovely gifts, and amongst them was a fantastic giraffe that her colleague made.
Later in the evening we met up with Derek, Suzie and their two kids for a bite to eat at the Madrona Ale House.
I had often heard that this particular establishment was kid friendly. Little did I know that there would be more kids there than adults.
In fact, behind the bar, along side the glassware, they have a couple of shelves with kids sippy cups. Oh how the times have changed.
Enjoy your weekend.
All the best,
Wayne, Katie and Sadbh.
