Sadbh had another really good night sleep. A little more restless than the night before, but she slept right through and did not wake until 5:30.
She was in a playful mood when she woke up, and played with Larissa for almost 15 minutes before Katie was called down for breakfast.
Here is my father’s journal entry for today.
Thursday 22nd March 2012
“Sadbh had a fairly good night sleep and wakes up happy at 08:20.
Mommy feeds her, and after getting dressed, Sadbh enjoyed her cereal & banana.
During playtime, Sadbh has the occasional sip of water and some cheerios.
11:00 Sadbh has some apple & pear puree. More playtime until she gets tired.
Bath 11:50 Sleep 12:05 Trach care went very well. 13:10 Sadbh wakes up and can’t wait for her bottle.
She drinks it all up without stopping. After some playtime, Sadbh is in for a treat. Nini will be managing the Green Spoon (restaurant) from now on, and she cooked up a special for Sadbh. Chicken, sweet potato, apple & onion. Sadbh loved it. She also had some carrot, and for desert, apple & pear.
Sadbh, Nini, Destiny and Granddad all went for a nice long walk in the sunshine and Sadbh fell asleep at 16:20”.
Sadbh had a nice relaxing sleep and kept snoozing while in her stroller, even after she arrived home.
She was a little bit irritated when she woke up, but it was nothing that a bottle would not sort out.
I had a great evening playing with Sadbh. She was in such a fantastic mood and full of energy.
Nini is really getting into the swing of things and is really good with Sadbh.
After dinner, Sadbh had another coughing fit and ended up barfing up her dinner.
When it came time for bed, it took almost an hour to get Sadbh settled in.
We don’t have a nurse this evening, so Sadbh is sleeping upstairs with us.
