Sadbh had a better than expected night sleep and did not wake until 5:30. Larissa did have to suction Sadbh’s trach every hour, but it helped keep Sadbh comfortable.
Nini’s boyfriend, Chris arrived last night for a holiday, and when Sadbh met him this morning, she flirted with him like crazy.
Sadbh had a new nurse start today, Abbie. She has a lot of experience with children with airway issues, so she is perfect for looking after Sadbh.
Sadbh had a fantastic day today, and was a lot more comfortable than she was yesterday. Between Nini, Chris and Abbie, she received a lot of attention and had plenty of people to play with. So much so, she skipped her afternoon nap.
By dinnertime, she was completely exhausted. She still managed to impress everyone by spotting two airplanes through the window flying high in the sky. She was playing with three binkies at a time and when we all got very excited, she suddenly got scared and burst into tears.
It was time for bed, and thankfully it did not take long for her to fall asleep.
