Sadbh slept great and woke up shortly after eight.
She was delighted to see Mommy first thing and she could not wait to get the
day started.
Ali-Baba came over in the morning to hang out and
after spending the morning playing they loaded up the car and headed to Ikea to
get some storage cabinets for Sadbh’s ever growing toy collection.
Not long after arriving at Ikea, Sadbh started to
feel overwhelmed and wanted everything she saw. Since she was getting extremely
excited, especially when she realized that she could not have all the things
she saw, she started to have problems breathing so Mommy had to quickly remove
the trach cap and replace it with a humidifier nose. Sadbh was still getting
very excited but with the nose she had no problems breathing.
Shortly after arriving home Katie and Ali-Baba took
care of trach care. As soon as they finished up it was time for Ali-Baba to
head home.
Sadbh spent the rest of the day playing with Katie
and I and later on she even helped assemble all the Ikea cabinets.
By bedtime she was getting very tired so it was not
long before she was fast asleep.
