Sadbh slept with the modified PMV on her trach from
half past eleven last night until she woke up shortly before eight. She was a
little restless for the first couple of hours but soon fell into a deep and
restful sleep for the remainder of the night.
She was in an excellent mood when she woke up and we
both had a fantastic day hanging out together.
In the afternoon she wanted to take a nap so after
lunch she jumped into bed and eventually fell asleep for an hour and a quarter.
She managed to do this with her trach capped and she had no difficulties
breathing.
She woke up in another great mood so after a bite to
eat we loaded up the stroller and headed off to Nora’s Woods to hunt for
monsters. She had a brilliant time and was tired after the walk there and back.
During dinner tonight Sadbh noticed the huge moon
floating above the trees in the back garden. She was very excited and wanted to
learn all about where the sun was when it got dark.
Bedtime was not easy as she had such a late nap and
she was still awake when Helen arrived. Thankfully she fell asleep shortly
before ten.
