Sadbh slept great and woke up around quarter past
eight well rested and excited to be going to Mommy’s doctor so she could hear
Taco’s heart beat.
She was motivated to eat breakfast and get ready
quickly and soon we were out the door and off down the street.
The visit went well and when the doctor checked for
the heart beat Sadbh was in awe of the sounds that she could hear. It was a
very special moment.
The rest of the morning was spent playing at home and
in the early afternoon the two of us headed up to Volunteer Park for a stroll.
Sadbh was thrilled to see all the trees and insisted that we searching for
monsters and creatures. It was a lot of fun but it became exhausting trying to
keep up with her.
The rest of the day was spent playing hide and seek
around the house and after a while I had to explain to Sadbh that she needed to
pick a new hiding place each time if she did not want to be found.
She had a great evening and went to bed easily when
it came time.
