Sadbh slept great throughout the night but woke up
much earlier than usual. She was expecting to see Mommy sitting next to her and
was very upset when she realized that I was there instead.
It took a few minutes but soon I had her laughing and
happy again.
Sadbh mastered the art of whistling today and showed
off her new skill to everyone.
Ali-Baba came by early today to hang out and spend
time with Sadbh. They had so much fun playing in the garden. They even got to have
a tea party.
We had Sadbh’s monthly trach change scheduled for
today and earlier in the week she helped pick out some toys that she wanted as
incentive for being brave. When it
came time for trach change everything went great and Sadbh allowed us to change
her trach without any resistance.
Once her trach was changed out we headed off to Smith
up on Capitol Hill for dinner and Sadbh had so much fun.
When we got home it was time for a movie and Sadbh
wanted to watch The Muppet Movie, which she loved.
By the time the movie ended it was well past Sadbh’s
bedtime. She was very tired but still had quite a bit of energy to burn off. It
took a tickle marathon to wear her out and a few stories but soon she was out
like a light.
