Sadbh slept great again last night
and only needed to be suctioned a few times. Larissa was quick to respond and
made sure that Sadbh was as comfortable all night.
By 6am, Sadbh was awake and had no
intention of going back to sleep. It was time for breakfast and she had a big
appetite.
Unfortunately she ate too quick and
got sick since she ended up choking on some food.
Not to worry, once she was cleaned up
she was ready to start the fun and games.
Destiny was working again today and
Sadbh was delighted to see her.
By 9am, Sadbh was starting to get
tired so Nini and Destiny started getting ready for trach care.
Everything went great and Sadbh slept
for two hours afterwards.
She was in a great mood when she woke
up, and had a nice big lunch prepared by Nini. She devoured everything and it
was then time to head out for a walk.
She loved being out and had a great
time.
The fun continued when she arrived
home, as it was time to listen to some music and dance.
Sadbh found an ice pack was
fascinated with it. She kept touching it and would giggle and then make the
sign for cold. She couldn’t get enough of it and it was very funny to watch.
Eventually all the excitement got the
better of her and it was time for her second nap of the day.
She slept for almost an hour and was
full of beans when she woke up.
After work, I took Sadbh for a walk
around the neighborhood and it was hilarious to watch her interact with
everything and everyone she saw.
She would spot a car and immediately
make the sign for car. Same for when we turned the corner and she saw a
motorcycle.
When a bus drove past, Sadbh made the
sign for bus and started to wave at all the passengers. It was so cute and she
was obviously having a great time.
As were hanging outside the house,
all of a sudden Katie pulled up in her car and I had to hold Sadbh back as she
tried her best to get to Katie. It was so cute and it was a great homecoming
for Katie.
