Sadbh slept surprisingly well last
night and did not need much suctioning. She did put on quite the gymnastic
display, but all in all she slept great.
She was wide-awake just before
Larissa’s shift ended at 6am, so I brought her up to bed to snuggle with Katie
and myself.
We thought she might drop back to
sleep after nursing, but she had a fit of coughing and it took almost two hours
and constant suctioning before she settled down and fell back to sleep.
She had a great day overall and later
in the evening we headed over to Cormac’s to celebrate his First birthday.
Sadbh had a great time hanging out with Cormac, Clodagh, Dylan, Aidan and
Conor.
We arrived home a little later than
usual and since everyone in the neighborhood was celebrating the 4th
of July, it sounded like a war zone outside with all the fireworks going off.
Hopefully Sadbh will sleep right through it all and won’t end up getting
scared.
