Sadbh had a rough night and needed to
be suctioned constantly. She was tossing and turning and had one coughing fit
after another.
She slept through it all, but she did
not get a good restful sleep.
When I got up around 7am to give her
a suction, she opened her eyes and gave me a good morning wave.
As soon as I was done, she was on her
feet trying to get Katie’s attention.
Sadbh had an appointment with her
Homeopathic doctor and since Krista had not seen Sadbh since December, she was
extremely impressed with her development and ability to use baby sign to
communicate.
Krista spent the hour asking us a ton
of questions and since Sadbh’s personality is well defined by now, she is
confident that this will aid her in narrowing down a homeopathic remedy.
By the time we were done, Sadbh was
getting extremely tired so we had to bundle her up in the car and race back
home so we could start trach care.
Katie was riding in the back next to
Sadbh and had to work really hard to keep Sadbh awake.
Thankfully traffic was light and we
were arrived home quite fast.
Sadbh enjoyed her bath and was fast
asleep shortly after being dried off and snuggled up in her pajamas.
Her mood today went from happy to
very cranky and we believe that this it due in part to her cough, and also as a
result of the two new front teeth that are coming through.
She had quite a few coughing fits
throughout the day and she got sick a couple of times.
Hopefully Sadbh will sleep well
tonight and will feel much better tomorrow.
All the best,
Wayne, Katie and Sadbh.
