It
was a battle to cap Sadbh’s trach but Helen succeeded in capping for just over
four hours. Sadbh still got a good night sleep and woke up moments before
Helen’s shift ended.
She
was in a good mood when she woke up and was quick to snuggle up to me as Helen
gave me the night’s report.
We
had a busy day as our Medicaid case manager came by to provide us an update on
our application and to have a few more documents filled out.
Sadbh
was very restless during this time and wanted me to play with her rather than
alone as I worked on the paperwork.
Later
we headed out to get the shopping done and run a few errands. Sadbh was in a
good mood but by the time we got home she was extremely bored and restless.
Just
before dinner we were talking about the possibility of Sophia returning for a
visit during the summer and Sadbh asked if she was coming back to collect her
socks that she forgot. It was so funny and she had Katie and I both in
hysterics.
Trach
care went well and Sadbh fell asleep moments later.
All
the best,
Wayne,
Katie and Sadbh.
