Sadbh
had a great night and was snoring like an old man. She managed almost five
hours with her trach capped, which was a big improvement over the past few
nights.
Sadbh
and I had a challenging day as she would not do anything I wanted her to do.
She insisted on having her own way and when she did not get it she would get
upset resulting in it becoming difficult for her to breathe and with me having
to remove her trach cap. This went on all day and by the time Katie arrived home
I was wrecked but Sadbh was in a wonderful mood.
We
got trach care out of the way shortly after Katie got home and soon it was time
for Sadbh to go to bed.
Mommy
read a couple of books to Sadbh, Kipper, Arnold, Tiger, Apple Jack and one
other pony I don’t know, before bed and soon Sadbh and her friends were off to
sleep.
We
had e-mailed our attorney friend last night regarding the UHC denial and she
responded first thing this morning furious that our win last year was over
turned. She rallied a couple of her attorney contacts with the insurance
company to try to resolve the issue from their end.
Katie
also called one of her contacts at UHC who assisted last year and she is also
working to help us out. It will probably take a while to get this resolved
however we are determined to succeed in getting the denial overturned.
All
the best,
Wayne,
Katie and Sadbh.
