Sadbh slept great and managed to wear her trach cap
for twenty minutes.
Katie took over from Danielle at six and thankfully
Sadbh slept in for another hour and a half. She was delighted to see Mommy when
she woke up and was quick to get out of bed.
She had a fantastic day playing with Mommy and Sophia
and later in the morning Ali-Baba stopped by to join in.
Sophia helped Katie out with trach care and
afterwards Sadbh was ready to take a nap. Unfortunately she had too much fun
with Ali-Baba and decided that a nap was the last thing that she wanted.
The next few hours were not pretty as Sadbh was
delirious and very difficult. It was fairly exhausting but eventually we were
able to calm her down in time to head out to visit Clodagh and Cormac for
dinner.
As expected, she fell asleep in the car not long
after leaving the house. Since we did not have far to go so Sadbh only slept
for a few minutes. This was fine as she was excited to be visiting her friends
and soon she was having a great time.
She had a wonderful evening and by the time she got
home she was completely and utterly wiped out.
We were getting worried about getting Sadbh to sleep
since it was getting very close to Danielle’s arrival time however as she was
out as soon as her head hit her pillow.
