Sadbh slept like a log and did not budge until almost
half past eight. She took over most of the bed and since I was on the other
side I had less than a foot and a half to sleep in.
She woke up in a very good mood and was eager to get
outside to play with Ixchel.
The girls had a lovely breakfast, thanks to Chris,
and immediately afterwards they got busy trying on all sorts of beautiful
dresses that Ixchel brought for the trip.
We had a double birthday party today to celebrate
Cormac and Conor turning three. All the kids were so excited and they had a
great day running, playing and burning off an endless supply of energy.
When the kids started to fizzle out we headed back to
the house and got Sadbh ready for trach care. Despite all the sugar consumed
she still had a hefty appetite and gobbled down a very healthy lunch, much to
our surprise.
After a nice relaxing bath Sadbh got ready for trach
care. Everything went well and we thought for a moment that she would take a
nap. Unfortunately the sugar was still keeping her going so we had no luck for
some quiet time.
Later in the evening we headed down to the shore to
watch the fireworks. It was mayhem and fortunately all the kids enjoyed the
firework display. Eventually Sadbh had enough so we headed home to bed. It did
not take long before she was cleaned up and in her pajamas and off to sleep.
