Sadbh had a rough night last night and was very restless throughout. Her secretions were also quite thick so she had to be suctioned regularly.
The rest of her day was much the same and the more irritated she got, the more we had to suction.
Typically we will only have to suction her trach four to five times throughout an awake period, however today it was as if we had to suction every ten to fifteen minutes.
We know it’s nothing serious, and it’s probably just usual baby stuff, but it can certainly make for a very long day.
My dad is a champion as he has a great way with Sadbh and is so patient. We are so lucky to have him here helping out.
