Sadbh had another restless nights sleep and Katie had to work hard to keep suctioning and keeping her trach clear.
When it was time to finally wake up, Sadbh was full of smiles.
Our friend Chris and her lovely daughter Ixchel came by for a visit and Sadbh was over the moon with excitement when she met Ixchel.
Both girls had a great time playing together and spent the whole time playing with Sadbh’s toys, especially with Cookie Monster.
Afterwards, Sadbh got to Skype with Katie’s cousin Bjorn, his wife Erin and their son Sam in Oslo.
By the time she was done Skyping, she was ready for her nap and it was time for Katie and I to manage trach care.
Sadbh was out like a light as soon as she was done with her bath, and it did not take long to get trach care done.
She slept for a short while afterwards and once she was awake, we all headed off to Greenlake for a nice walk.
Sadbh fell asleep in no time and got to relax for the entire walk.
By the time we got home, we spent the rest of the evening trying to keep Sadbh awake by playing and practicing tummy time, crawling and all that good stuff.
As we got closer to her bed time, you could tell it was getting a little harder to stay awake, so we got her changed into her bed clothes, said good night to everyone and bundled her off to bed.
As soon as I had her wrapped up in her swaddle, her eyes closed with a bang and she was out cold for the evening.
What an angel.
