Sadbh slept well and woke up just before Harjinder’s
shift ended. She popped her head up from her bed and when she realized that
Mommy was not sitting there she popped back down and hung out until Mommy did
come in.
We had a busy morning organizing the yard and Sadbh
could not wait to pull her two pumpkins out of the garden. She was so excited
but realized after a few minutes that they weighed a lot more than she had
expected.
As she was helping turning the soil she found a few
worms and had to show them off.
After a nice bath it was time for trach care and then
off to Issaquah for the Salmon Day’s fair. Sadbh fell asleep in the car on the
way there and surprisingly she slept for nearly an hour as we walked through
the loud crowds of people.
She woke up completely confused, as she had no idea
where she was.
It was a fun fair and Sadbh even got to see a school
of salmon trying to make their way up stream to spawn.
Sadbh’s friends, Dylan, Clodagh and Cormac were also
at the fair so after watching the salmon for a while it was time to go find her
friends.
Despite the massive crowd it did not take us long to
find everyone and soon Sadbh was hanging out watching a juggling cowboy who
also showed off some fancy lasso tricks. All the kids were entertained and had
a wonderful time.
The rest of the evening was quiet and Sadbh headed to
bed shortly before nine. She was tired so it did not take too long before she
was fast asleep.
All
the best,
Wayne, Katie and Sadbh
