Sadbh had a great night sleep and did not budge until I popped in to kiss her good bye on my way out to work at 5:45am.
Larissa has mentioned before that Sadbh usually wakes up, just before I come into the room as if she knows I’m coming. I’m not sure if that’s really the case, but it’s a great way to start the day.
Sadbh had a great day and even got to go out into the yard for a while. As soon as they set foot back in the house, Sadbh was gesturing to go back outside for another walk around. My father has noticed that when Sadbh wants him to bring her somewhere, she’s like a little jockey on her horse and does her best to direct him wherever she wishes to go.
Around noon, she took a three hour nap and was in a deep sleep throughout.
She was so full of energy when I got home and was ready for some serious playtime with all her toys. It was a lot of fun since she was in such a good mood and it wasn’t too difficult to get a bunch of giggles from her.
Just before bed time, Katie’s father arrived for a weekend visit and got to spend a short while playing with Sadbh. She’s getting the “high-five” down now and was happy to play that with Howard.
Since we will not have any nurses until Monday morning, we moved all of Sadbh’s equipment up to our room and we are hoping that things will go a lot smoother this weekend, compared to last.
