Sadbh had a terrible night and was
waking every hour in a great deal of discomfort. We had no success in trying to
calm her down, so at 2am we gave her some Tylenol, which seemed to do the
trick.
She slept for another few hours and
at 6 she was ready to take on the day.
Unfortunately, neither Katie or I
were feeling as eager to start the day, so we had our work cut out for us
trying to get Sadbh back to sleep.
Eventually I gave up and brought
Sadbh down stairs for breakfast and left Katie to sleep on.
We had a fun morning playing with all
her toys and Sadbh had an incredible amount of energy.
She was going non-stop for almost 6
hours before she started to get tired.
Katie and I figured it was a good
time for trach care, and since Sadbh was in such a deep sleep, it was a very
straightforward procedure.
Ali-Baba and Kirk stopped by for a
visit and got to play with Sadbh out in the garden. She had so much fun riding
her trike in the new grass and picking little strawberries.
Afterwards we headed off to meet our
friends for a picnic in a park in Wallingford.
Sadbh had a great time playing with
Clodagh, Cormac and Aidan. She even got to play on the slides.
All the best,
Wayne, Katie and Sadbh.
