Sadbh slept pretty well. She spent most of the night in her own
bed, but joined Katie a few times during the night.
In the morning, Sadbh heard an
airplane overhead. Katie explained
that Daddy was on an airplane and Sadbh made the airplane sign and giggled.
Molly was working today and Sadbh was
delighted to see her. The morning
was spent playing and riding around the house in the red wagon.
Later in the morning, Sadbh got to
Skype with Nana and Grandad. It was Grandad’s birthday and Sadbh could not give
him enough kisses through the computer.
She just wished she could crawl through and give both him and Nana a
real kiss.
Nini and Molly managed trach care
while Katie took care of some errands.
Sadbh was a bit fussy and woke up immediately after trach care was
done. Nini thinks that Sadbh’s
neck is irritating her.
After lunch, Sadbh, Nini and Molly
packed up and went for a nice long walk through the neighborhood. Sadbh finally dozed off towards the end
of the walk and she had a nice little sleep.
In the evening, Sadbh, Nini and Katie
decided to go for another walk down at Seward Park. The evening sun was beautiful and Sadbh was in awe at all the
water, boats, dogs, trees, birds and babies. She knows all of these signs and she couldn’t stop talking
about all of these favorite things.
By the time it was bedtime, Sadbh was
exhausted and she fell straight asleep.
Daddy arrived home from his business trip and couldn’t wait to take a
peek at his princess. Sadbh looked
so cute and peaceful, he had to snap a couple pictures of sleeping beauty.
Larissa is working tonight and
everyone is looking forward to a good nights rest.
