Sadbh slept great and did not wake
until just as Larissa was leaving at 6am. Sadbh started to get a little
restless shortly after midnight. Larissa was quick to act and got Sadbh settled
back to sleep immediately.
Destiny was working today and Sadbh
was excited to see her.
The fun started right after breakfast
and Sadbh got to play with a bunch of her toys in the basement.
Nini noticed that Sadbh was a little
bit sad today and figured that after a busy weekend playing with Katie and
myself, that she was lonely for the two of us.
Nini was determined to keep Sadbh as
happy as possible, so it was a morning filled with fun, including singing and
dancing.
Sadbh was tired when it came to nap
time and was in a deep sleep after she was done bathing.
Trach care was very straightforward
and Sadbh slept for an hour afterwards.
Sadbh had an omelette and some pears
for lunch, and afterwards she headed out for a nice walk with Nini and Destiny.
She was thrilled to get out of the house and was doing the baby sign for car
every time one drove by.
Typically she will nap when out for a
walk, but that was not the case today. Even when she arrived home, she had no
interest in going to sleep, despite being very tired.
Nini worked very hard trying to get
Sadbh to sleep, but Sadbh fought back harder.
Sadbh succeeded in avoiding her
second nap and was full of energy when I arrived home from work. You could tell
that she was very tired, but it was incredible how feisty she was. Both Nini
and I were wiped out chasing after her, however, it was so much fun.
She got very excited when Katie
arrived home and could not wait to get into her arms.
The fun continued and when it came
time for dinner, Sadbh joined us.
Bedtime was very easy since she had
been awake since before 1pm.
