Sadbh slept upstairs with us on
Thursday night and slept well through the night.
Around 4:30 she joined us in bed and
slept on for another couple of hours.
Molly was working today and Sadbh was
happy to see her.
The weather had improved so Nini and
Molly took Sadbh for a nice long walk through the neighborhood.
It had been a few days since she has
been out of the house for a walk, so Sadbh was thrilled. After a while, she
dropped off to sleep and did not budge for an hour and a half.
Sadbh received a couple of really
cool deliveries in the evening. The first big package contained a picnic table
and bench for the back garden. She will surely get plenty of use out of that
with her friends this summer.
The second delivery contained a red
wagon, and she was thrilled as we wheeled her around the house.
Within no time, she had it full of
her dolls and toys and she was like a princess waving to everyone.
Katie and Nini had to do trach care
for a second time today, since Sadbh had gotten her trach ties covered in food.
They waited to do it just after Sadbh
went to bed and thankfully it all went well.
Her neck was irritated and one of the
band-aids that coved her sore had folded over on itself, so they removed that.
