Sadbh had another great night sleep, and she was rolling all over the place. One minute she was stuck in a corner, the next she’s sprawled across the width of the cot.
Larissa kept a close eye on her to make sure that she was comfortable and not blocking her mist collar, and for the first night in ages, she did not have to suction Sadbh’s trach.
Sadbh woke up around 5:15, and played for 20 minutes before Katie was called down to serve breakfast.
Katie was able to get a whole bunch of snuggles in, and by 6:30, Sadbh was back to sleep for another hour.
Destiny was working today, and together with Nini and Chris, Sadbh had a lot of fun playing.
Both Destiny and Nini managed trach care today, and everything went well. At one point, Sadbh’s Oximeter sensor fell off her foot, setting off the alarm, and this caused Nini some stress. Thankfully Sadbh was fine, and trach care was managed without any further stress.
Later in the evening, the sun came out, so Nini and Chris took Sadbh out into the back garden for a walkabout, and she was in her element.
Sadbh had a fantastic day, and was pooped when it came time for bed.
All the best,
Wayne, Katie and Sadbh.
