Sadbh was tossing and turning all night, and needed suctioning on a regular basis. It made for a long night, and no one got enough sleep.
She had a great morning, and got to spend it playing with Katie, Nini and Chris.
During breakfast, Sadbh got to practice while watching her baby sign DVD.
When it came time for her nap, Katie and Nini took advantage of the opportunity and managed trach care.
After Sadbh’s nap, they loaded up the car and all headed over to Ali-Baba’s house for a visit.
Suzie, Clodagh and Cormac joined in on the fun, and since it was a nice day, they all headed to the local park so the kids could play on the swings and slides.
Everyone had a great time, and Sadbh was exhausted for the drive home.
When she arrived home, she got to open a present that she received from Barry, Kim and Finn in Australia. It was funny to watch her clinging to Katie as her present was unwrapped, and she was extremely excited once she realized what was inside the packaging.
It was a bird-house with 4 birds, and this was perfect timing since she just started doing the baby sign for birds this morning.
She had a wonderful evening playing with her new toys, and when it came time to go to bed, she was absolutely exhausted. It took us some serious effort to get her to sleep, but she eventually caved and nodded off into a deep slumber.
Since it’s Sadbh’s birthday next week, both Katie and I have taken the week off of work, and I’m looking forward to sleeping in with Sadbh each morning.
