Sadbh slept like a log last night, and did not start to move until after 3am. Even though she was in a deep sleep throughout the night, she was very gassy.
As the saying goes, silent but deadly, and this was very true for Sadbh last night.
It wasn’t until after Larissa left, that Sadbh woke up.
Sadbh was still fast asleep as Katie was seeing Larissa to the door, so Katie brought the monitor to keep an eye on her.
Next thing she noticed a very groggy little baby staring directly into the camera, and within moments Sadbh disappeared again. The camera wouldn’t move down anymore and all Katie could see was what looked to be Sadbh’s bum wiggling as she was now lying at the foot of her cot trying to get back to sleep.
When Katie came into the room, Sadbh was standing up and greeted her with the biggest, silliest smile.
After a very quick breakfast, Sadbh was back to sleep by 6:15, and did not wake up until almost 8am.
This time, Katie got some serious snuggling with Sadbh.
Destiny was working again today and Sadbh had another fun day planned.
Later in the morning, she got to Skype with her Granddad and Nana back in Cork. They were both excited to see Sadbh, but not as excited as she was when Granddad appeared on the screen.
After they were done Skyping, it was time for a nap and trach care.
Everything went well, and Sadbh slept right through it. Her heart rate was higher than usual, but she slept well for an hour.
After she woke up, it was time for food and a walk through the neighborhood.
It was a lovely day and Sadbh was glad to get out in the fresh air.
Later in the evening, she got to hang out with our next-door neighbors Pat, Charlie and their new puppy. Sadbh was in her element with the puppy and young Charlie.
When it came time for dinner, Sadbh was very fussy and not that happy. Her temperature was getting high, as was her heart rate.
We fear that she’s coming down with another cold or something, so we gave her Tylenol just before bed.
Katie brought Sadbh into her room to get her ready for bed and next thing Sadbh was fast asleep on her changing table.
