Sadbh slept great and woke
up at 6:15 in a very good mood. Katie gave her the iPad so she could watch one
of her “wheels on the bus” movies and this made her morning.
She had a great day and she
ended up taking a nice long nap while out strolling through the neighborhood
with Caity.
I arrived home to find a
very happy and playful little girl. All went well until we headed upstairs to
get my camera. Sadbh was playing on the bed when she slipped off and hit her
head on the way down. It was quite the bang and it startled poor little Sadbh.
Thankfully she was not hurt
but she did end up with a lump on the back of her head.
Neil came by for dinner
tonight and Sadbh was shy at first. It was very hard to make dinner since Sadbh
was so clingy, however after a while she warmed up and relaxed a little.
She was very tired when it
came time for bed so we gave her a nice bath and got her ready for trach care.
It took about 40 minutes or
so for her to finally fall asleep, however she kept telling Katie how much she
liked “Uncle Neil” before finally dozing off.
Trach care went well and
Sadbh slept right through.
Julie is back on shift
tonight so Sadbh should get another good night sleep.
