She had another great night
and Larissa did a great job suctioning when needed to keep her airway clear.
Sadbh woke up just before 7
and even though she had a slight coughing fit, she did not get sick and was in
a great mood.
She had a great morning and
was full of energy when Caity started her shift at 8:30.
Naptime came late today and
Sadbh slept for two and a half hours. She was well rested when she woke up and
she had a huge appetite.
We had a very fun evening after
I arrived home from work and things only got better when Katie arrived home.
For some reason or other
Sadbh had a strong craving for oranges.
She told me this repeatedly by pointing at a picture of an orange in her
book and saying “Orange please”. Katie picked some up on the way home and Sadbh
was delighted.
We had to wait until Sadbh
went to sleep to manage trach care and by the time she finally fell asleep we
were all exhausted.
We were able to manage trach
care easily enough and thankfully Sadbh slept right through.
