Sadbh had a great night and once she was up it was
straight up stairs for a snuggle.
We had plans to go for a ferry ride today so after
breakfast Granddad and I got trach care out of the way and as soon as we had
that completed we loaded the car and headed downtown to the ferry.
Sadbh was all excited and wanted to know exactly how
cars were loaded on and off the ferry.
Once onboard we headed up to the top deck and Sadbh
loved having the wind blowing in her face. It was bitter cold but she could
have stayed out there for the entire crossing if she got her way.
The ferry took us to Bainbridge Island and since it
was close to lunchtime we decided to stop off in Winslow for a bite to eat.
We had a great time on Bainbridge and later as we
drove around the island Sadbh fell asleep. She snoozed for almost an hour and
woke up just as we were heading back to the ferry. Unfortunately she had an
accident in her car seat. Thankfully Katie was prepared so we were able to get
Sadbh changed into dry clothes fairly quickly.
Bedtime tonight was easy and despite her nap she went
to sleep without any problems.
