Sadbh wore her trach cap until ten when Jirapa
removed it to allow her to breathe comfortably.
She woke up at two and told the nurse that she was
scared and asked if she could hold her hand. Jirapa held her hand until quarter
to four while Sadbh slept.
She must have been very tired as she slept in until
after eight.
We all had a fun day playing and in the afternoon,
once trach care was finished, Katie and I headed into town to take care of some
business.
Nana and Granddad took care of Sadbh and Cillian and
since Cillian slept the whole time they got to have some special playtime with
Sadbh.
She wanted to wear her favorite red coat that Nana
brought over from Ireland and she pretended that she was red riding hood. Granddad
had to explain the story to her and she had a great time.
When Katie and I returned home, Sadbh was clearly
very tired. She kept saying that
when she is alone she is scared.
We are not sure where this is coming from, but we tried to reassure her
that she is always safe and very rarely alone.
After dinnertime, as she was cleaned up,it was time
to get ready for bed.
Sadbh and Mommy snuggled up while Mommy read a few
books.
Soon after Sadbh got into bed she was out like a
light.
