Sadbh woke up very early and when I came in to take
over shortly after seven she was in bed holding Jirapa’s hand. Poor Jirapa had
been kneeling next to Sadbh’s bed while holding her hand for at least
forty-five minutes.
Sadbh was in a great mood and wanted to hang out with
me instead of waking Mommy up.
We got busy making breakfast and getting ready for
the day.
Katie and I got trach care completed early today and
afterwards we headed to the city records department to pick Cillian’s birth
certificate up.
We had to wait for a while and eventually Sadbh
started to get bored and very restless. Cillian joined in on the fun and
between both kids things got a little stressful.
The rest of the day was great.
After dinner she wrote a love card for Nana and
Granddad, unfortunately she did not have any ink in her pen, however I was able
to capture her recital on video.
Sadbh helped bathe Cillian and she learned how to be
gentle while showering him with kisses and hugs. Since day one she has been
very affectionate with him but unfortunately she does not know her own
strength.
By bedtime she was completely pooped and was out like
a light instantly.
