Sadbh slept better than the rest of us last night and
was up bright and early at seven. She had a good start to the day and was happy
chatting with Jirapa when I came down shortly afterwards.
As soon as Jirapa left we headed upstairs and Sadbh
got to snuggle up with Mommy.
We had a lazy but fun day. Sadbh got to play with as
many toys as she could get her hands on.
After trach care and lunch we headed out in the car
for a drive down to the lake. It was a beautiful day and we had planned to go
for a walk along the water. That was until Sadbh fell asleep so we drove on and
both Katie and I enjoyed the silence for a while instead.
Sadbh was fully charged by the time we got home and
was ready to get back to playing with her toys. We each took turns playing with
her and did out best to tire her out for bedtime. This did not work and she
finally fell asleep close to ten.
When we arrived home Sadbh got to listen to a voice
mail that she received from Granddad and Nana and she was so excited to hear
from them.
