Sadbh slept great and woke up shortly after eight
well rested. She wanted to head up to Mommy but since Cillian had us up quite a
bit through the night I persuaded Sadbh to have breakfast and to let Mommy and
Cillian sleep in for a while longer.
It was a lovely day so we decided to head to the zoo
after trach care. Sadbh was excited with this idea so trach care was very easy.
Despite the good weather, we practically had the zoo
to ourselves.
At the gorilla exhibit Sadbh and I checked out a
statue of a gorilla family. Sadbh and I were laughing at how it was like our
family. There was a father, mother, young and baby gorilla. Sadbh even named
them after us.
Sadbh had so much fun but was desperate to ride on
the carousel. We figured that we would get to the carousel just as we would
finish up but unfortunately by the time we arrived it had closed for the day.
Sadbh was a good sport about it and did not fuss whatsoever.
The rest of the day was spent playing or reading books.
She had a wonderful day and was fast asleep before eight.
