Sadbh put on quite the acrobatic show
last night, she should have been competing in the Olympics.
She had a very good sleep, but was
all over the place. Occasionally her legs would pop out of one side of her cot,
while later her hands and arms would pop out of the other side.
By 6:45 she woke up and was quite
sad. Katie nursed her and after a quick snooze, Sadbh’s mood improved.
She had worked up quite the appetite
after all the exercise through the night and had no problem gobbling down her
breakfast.
Destiny arrived just in time to kick
start the days fun activities and soon afterwards all three women headed out
for a long walk.
Sadbh was happy to be out in the warm
sunny day and was waving at everyone as usual.
Later on she started to get tired, so
Nini and Destiny had to keep her entertained and awake until they hurried home.
Trach care went very well and Sadbh
slept for almost two hours afterwards.
The painters started painting the
kitchen today, so as soon as Sadbh was awake, she had her lunch outside in the
back garden.
She loved it and was entertained by
the birds and squirrels that came by for a nose.
As soon as she was done with lunch,
it was time to head off to meet with Conor and his mother Aoife for a play
date.
Sadbh and Conor had a fantastic time
and could not get enough of playing on the swings.
They played together for a long time
and shared their toys.
I bumped into Sadbh, Nini and Destiny
a couple of blocks from the house while I was returning home from work. I was
on my motorcycle and as soon as Sadbh seen me she started making the baby sign
for motorcycle.
Sadbh had a great evening and despite
being awake since shortly after noon, she was in a wonderful mood and so full
of energy.
When it came time for bed, she was
full of snuggles and after she was changed into her pajamas, she had no problem
dropping off to sleep.
All the best,
Wayne, Katie and Sadbh.
