Sadbh had a much better night sleep and
thankfully her heart rate and blood oxygen level was very stable throughout the
night.
She awoke shortly after Larissa’s shift ended
and was immediately ready for her breakfast.
Nadia was working with Sadbh today and Sadbh
was in for a full day of fun.
Sadbh wore her Passy Muir Valve for almost an
hour and her voice got louder and stronger as the time went by.
As soon as she started to get sleepy, Nini and
Nadia sprung into action and started her trach care ritual.
Sadbh slept through allowing for an easy trach
care, however, she did not sleep for long afterwards.
She had a big lunch after she got up, but her
mood was not great. She was quite cranky so Nini and Nadia took her out for a
nice long walk.
This did the trick and Sadbh spent most of the
time waving at people and once she arrived at the park she even tried to chase
a few birds.
Thankfully she fell asleep for 30 minutes on
the way home, but it still was not enough.
Despite being very tired, Sadbh had a great
evening and was very active. She could not stop playing hide and seek and she
rearranged the living room and her bedroom over and over.
When it came time for bed she had no energy
left and was fast asleep in no time.
We originally had an appointment for her at
Children’s Hospital for tomorrow for another treatment of Botox along with a
bronchoscopy and a possible removal of any granuloma build up inside her
airway. Her appointment has been moved out to Monday giving us another few days
to get ready for it.
All the best,
Wayne, Katie and Sadbh.
