Sadbh slept well thanks to Larissa. She was a
little bit more active than usual but Larissa was able to keep her calm.
When I popped in to see her this morning while
heading out to work, Sadbh woke up for a few moments. She made the sign for mommy and fell back to
sleep as soon as I made the sign that mommy was sleeping.
Shortly after Larissa left at 6am, she woke
again. This time mommy was there and
after a quick snack and a snuggle, Sadbh slept on for another hour and a half
before finally getting up for breakfast.
We originally had her appointment for Botox
treatment scheduled for today, so we did not have any nurses scheduled for the
day. Since the appointment moved out, Nini was working solo today with help
from Ali-Baba when it came time for trach care.
Sadbh was in a much better mood today and wore
her Passy Muir Valve for a long time while out for a walk with Nini. Her voice
is getting louder and she is certainly making more sounds than ever.
While in the park she started to shout very
loudly, so loud in fact that she hurt Nini’s ears. It was a great sound and we
hope that she keeps it up.
She had a great day overall and hopefully she
will have another good night sleep tonight.
