Sadbh was extremely restless
and ended up joining us in bed shortly after midnight. The kicking, tossing and
turning didn’t stop there, but eventually she calmed down into a deep sleep.
By 7am, Sadbh was awake and
ready for breakfast. She was definitely in an odd mood, however, as soon as she
had her breakfast, her mood improved.
Nadia was working today and
shortly after she arrived it was time to test out the Passy Muir Valve.
Sadbh did great and made so
many sounds. She is definitely a noisy little girl and we love every minute of
it.
After lunch and some playtime,
Sadbh started to get tired so it was time for trach care. She fell into a good
sleep so trach care was very straightforward and Sadbh slept for an hour and a
half.
After lunch they all headed out
for a walk down to the Japanese Garden down in Madison Valley.
Sadbh loved it and especially
the Koi fish and the turtles swimming around the pond. She even got to feed
them, however, I think she really wanted to gobble down the fish food herself.
After the fish and turtles were
fed, it was time for a picnic and Sadbh’s ferocious appetite was tamed.
She had a wonderful day and was
in a fantastic mood all evening.
All the best,
Wayne, Katie and Sadbh.
